SchoolHouse Kitchen was founded by Patsy M. Smith as a way of combining her two passions, cooking and education. Our first products, SweetSmoothHot Mustard, Bardshar Chutney and our Balsamic Vinaigrette Basico are longtime family and friend favorites that are now available to the larger public. In 2007 Patsy’s daughter Wendy joined the company and runs the day to day business, son Christopher Smith is the company design director.Patsy's philosophy on food is to eat well, which means looking for quality foods and avoiding artificial preservatives and substitutes, eat in moderation, and be adventurous.
